Terms & Conditions

 

1. General Description of the SolarEdge Social Media Program 
The SolarEdge Social Media Program (the "Program”) gives you, as installer of SolarEdge products, a chance to win a new Drone DJI mini 3, free of charge (the "Complimentary Product"), if you are the one to reach the most Positive Reactions on your post regarding a success story of a SolarEdge installation, as per the Terms.
In order to qualify for a chance to win the Complimentary Product, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Register to the Program on the designated SolarEdge webpage, enter the applicable details, acknowledge and meet the Terms.
  2. First round: post a success story including pictures/video and text of a SolarEdge installation, including inverter/s installed, on LinkedIn between October 25th and November 25th 2024, follow @SolarEdge and put hashtag #SolarEdgeAwards on the post (the “Post”). The 5 qualified Posts that will reach the most Positive Reactions between October 25th and November 25th 2024 will qualify for the second round
  3. Second round: SolarEdge will collect and share the qualified Posts in a landing page for public voting during15 days (between December 1st and December 15th 2024). The Post that will reach the most Positive Reactions by the end of the Program on December 15th and receive SolarEdge written confirmation of eligibility, as per the Terms of the Program, will win the Complimentary Product.

2. Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Program, you must:
  1. Be an installer of SolarEdge products with a valid shipping address within Spain;
  2. Be Spanish resident who is at least 18 years old;
  3. The installation published must be installed within the last 3 years
  4. The post must be published between October 25th and November 25th 2024
  5. Register to the Program on the designated SolarEdge webpage and accept the Terms.

 

3. Privacy and personal data
Processing of personal data is governed by SolarEdge's Privacy Policy which can be found on SolarEdge's website (https://www.solaredge.com/privacy-policy).
 
 
4. Term and scope
 The Program term will be between October 25th and December 15th, 2024 (the "Term") and is limited to one (1) Complimentary Product. SolarEdge shall review all entries and announce the winner, at its sole discretion. SolarEdge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Positive Reactions shall mean LinkedIn reactions such as: Celebrate, Love, Insightful and Curious. The winner will be personally notified via the email address provided and/or by message on LinkedIn. The Complimentary Product shall be shipped to the winner’s address. Once SolarEdge has issued the Complimentary Product under the Program, the Program shall automatically terminate. The Complimentary Product is not redeemable for cash or other goods and will only be issued to the named winner. The Complimentary Product is not transferable. The winner will be responsible for any taxes that may be associated with the acceptance of the Complimentary Product.
 
 
5. Liability
  1. Release from Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant releases SolarEdge from any and all costs, damages, expenses, and losses which any participant may suffer or incur as a result of SolarEdge's action or inaction arising out of or in connection with this Program. YOU HEREBY RELEASES, ACQUITS AND DISCHARGES SOLAREDGE FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, CAUSES OF ACTION, SUITS OR OTHER TYPE OF FINANCIAL AND/OR OTHER LIABILITIES IN CONNECTION TO THIS PROGRAM.
  2. Limitation of Liability - No Warranties. EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH HEREIN OR WHERE THE LAW REQUIRES A DIFFERENT STANDARD, SOLAREDGE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, INJURY, OR FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, OR OTHER ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE, HOWEVER, THEY ARISE, WHETHER IN BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY OR IN TORT, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE AND EVEN IF SOLAREDGE HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
  3. THIS CAMPAIGN IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
  4. This Program will be exclusively governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive venue of the appropriate courts located in Madrid, Spain.
  5. If, in SolarEdge's sole discretion, a participant breaches any of these Terms, acts unlawfully, tampers or attempts to tamper with the campaign or breaches applicable laws and regulations, including any social media policies, SolarEdge reserves the right to disqualify the giveaway claim and in such event any giveaway will be forfeited. SolarEdge's decision shall be final and binding.
  6. Each participant may only submit one entry. Participants are required to provide accurate, current and complete personal information including email, LinkedIn contact info, installation ID, photos and shipping address in Spain. Participants warrant that (1) they are the legal owner of the pictures/posts included in any entry or were granted said consent from the owner (2) the posts and their publication comply with all applicable laws, including any policies governing the relevant social media platforms. By participating in the Campaign, you consent to receive communications from SolarEdge via email and by message on LinkedIn. Participants hereby consent to the publication of the Posts and any part thereof by SOLAREDGE TECHNOLOGIES (SPAIN), SOCIEDAD LIMITADA and its Affiliates (the “Company) as part of the Program as well as in any additional reasonable marketing initiatives of the Company (including publication of participant’s full name location and company name, photos, and content) including on the SolarEdge website and on social media, without limitation or compensation.
