Questions & Answers

Which SolarEdge inverters are eligible for the battery program?
All already installed SolarEdge inverters that are suitable for connecting to a battery. These include the SolarEdge HD Wave (RW0) single-phase inverters from the production year 2016, SolarEdge Home Wave (RW0) and Hub (RWB), and the StorEdge (RWS). For the three-phase inverters, these are the SolarEdge Home Hub (RWB) and the StorEdge (RWS). The current three-phase SolarEdge Home Wave inverter (RW0) is not suitable for connecting to a battery. For this, we have developed a special exchange action with a €1000 voucher.

How do I order the batteries as part of this promotion?
Order the batteries and any other SolarEdge products from your distributor. Here you will find an overview of our distributors. For the batteries, the following part numbers apply:
Single-phase: BAT-10K1PS0B - SolarEdge Home Battery 400V- 9.7kWh (10-year warranty)
Three-phase*: BAT-05K48M0B-02 - SolarEdge Home Battery 48V - 4.6kWh per module (10-year warranty)
For an overview of the available accessories, please contact your distributor or a SolarEdge representative.
* As part of this promotion, there is a minimum order quantity of 1 SolarEdge 400V battery or 2 SolarEdge Home 48V Batteries.

I read in the participation terms that I must be certified to connect batteries. How can I obtain such a certificate?
Obtaining the required certificates is done digitally through our EDGE Academy learning & knowledge platform. Here we offer three different trainings:

I am a homeowner - how can I express my interest in this campaign?
Contact your installer to see if your system qualifies for the RE-POWER promotion and if he also participates in SolarEdge's promotion campaign. If you do not have an installer, or your installer does not participate in the promotion, find a qualified SolarEdge installer via this link.

How do I return the old 3-phase RW0 inverter?
If the end customer uses the exchange promotion, we ask the installer to return this inverter via the RML process. Upon receipt, this inverter will be inspected and will be re-introduced as an RMA inverter. That's sustainable.

Can I use old and exchanged 3-phase RW0 inverters at a new location?
No, unfortunately this is not allowed within the current promotion rules. All inverters will undergo a thorough inspection before they become available again in the market.

Do the new inverters come with a new warranty?
Yes, each inverter comes with a new 12-year warranty.

What if the existing system has an extended warranty?
All new inverters come with a standard 12-year warranty, regardless of the warranty status of the previous inverter. If the system owner wishes to have an extended warranty on the new inverter, follow the steps on this link to purchase a new extended warranty.
