Why use the Direct Cost Method?

  • SolarEdge C&I inverters carry enough domestic content to help projects hit the 50% threshold — without requiring modules with U.S. cells.
  • Asset owners can use lower-cost, more available "light Domestic Content" modules with imported cells instead of expensive, hard-to-source U.S.-cell options.
  • For carports and small ground-mounts, where module pricing and availability directly impact timelines and returns, this flexibility is critical.
