Getting Started

• Step 1: Create your account in the SolarEdge Monitoring Portal: WATCH then Click Here
  
  Note:  You will need to have a monitoring portal account in order to add your team as users to gain access to the training.  This will require a serial number for an inverter you intend to install.

• Add your employees/users to your monitoring portal account to get them the training they need. WATCH

Step 2: Log into EDGE Academy with monitoring credentials:  Either new or experienced with SolarEdge products, you can select your own journey, Start Here North American Technical Training

Just want to get started?  Here is the recommended training:  SolarEdge Fundamentals, Home Hub Technical Essentials and the Home Battery Technical Certification course, No-Call RMA Training

Help your teams gain access to all other tools using their monitoring portal credentials. 

• Step 3: Log into Designer with your monitoring credentials 

Step 4: Design site to confirm system components are compatible and export the design to Monitoring: WATCH

Step 5: Download Mapper and SetApp before you head onsite

Step 6: Use Mapper to map Power Optimizers to the correct solar modules: WATCH

Step 7: Commission the site with SetApp: WATCH

Step 8: Give the system owner access to monitoring and onboard the homeowner: WATCH
