Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I am more than 100km from the Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth GPO?
If your homeowner site is more than 100km from these GPO’s, then your site won't be eligible for the AdvantEdge program. See full Terms and Conditions for details.
Can I walk away from the site after installation?
SolarEdge will need to monitor the site for 30 days. If there are no issues, SolarEdge will enroll the site into the AdvantEdge program.
What happens if my homeowner experiences downtime during these 3 years?

SolarEdge will compensate the homeowner for the experienced downtime.

When will the homeowner be not eligible for the downtime compensation?

System Owner will not be eligible for enrollment into the program to receive Gift Card Compensation in any of the following cases: (i) downtime resulting from system design or other unrelated failure to the Products; or (ii) downtime while the Site is not communicating with the Monitoring Platform due to external reasons; or (iii) Product failure that is not covered under the Limited Product Warranty; or (iv) downtime that is triggered by a System Owner initiated shutdown; or (v) downtime caused by SolarEdge initiated shutdown for routine maintenance; or (vi)downtime resulting from grid failure or grid connection issues; or (vii) downtime resulting from governmental or court order mandated shutdowns; Act of God. Product substitutions; Modifications made to system without approval.
